‘Artsakh does not have any future within Azerbaijan’: Zohrab Mnatsakanyan

“The current situation clearly reflects one reality and truth. Artsakh does not have any future within Azerbaijan. It never had one and it never will,” the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, said during a session of the National Assembly Standing Committees on Foreign Relations and on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs, in which they discussed the 2021 plans for the state budget.

“Such a scenario would involve Artsakh having no Armenians. That is not possible. That is even more so emphasized today. This is not proof of our foreign policy, but our national goals. I do not believe that any Armenian- no matter where they live- can live with the thought of anything happening to Armenians in Artsakh. Our national resources are aimed in that direction in all manners. We need to work together to resolve this issue,” Mnatsakanyan stressed.
