‘‘Last year, the Ministry fully implemented several programs that were aimed to execute on our strategy of High-Tech industry development. Obviously the Covid-19 pandemic was an ordeal for our country, but the numbers speak for themselves” the Minister of high-tech Industry of Armenia told during his press conference on February 9, 2021.
“The revenue of Armenian technological companies in 2020 has grown 20.6% compared to 2019, and amounted to around $400M USD. Other key indicators also look very promising. We saw a massive 22% year over year growth of the number of employees involved in High-Tech and as of today 18,747 people are working in this sector. The number of active technological companies also increased and reached 1228’’,- stated the Minister.
