After the session of government, reporters asked the Minister of Foreign Affairs Ara Ayvazyan whether or not he is aware of the new statement Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan was referring to in parliament yesterday, which has to do with the Goris-Davit Bek route.
In response, the minister said, “I am only aware of the statements signed on November 9th and January 11th.”
As far as why the minister is unaware of such things, and whether or not it is concerning that the Minister of Foreign Affairs does not know about such documents, he said, “I said that I am only aware of the statements signed on November 9th and January 11th. The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is responsible for issues concerning foreign affairs and for ensuring that we carry out activities concerning our sector to the best of our ability.”
