“You know better than anyone that if it were not for the change of power in Armenia in 2018 with the great support of foreign powers, you would have seen the back of your ear sooner than Shushi and Hadrut,” today, ” the president of the Republican Party of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan addressed the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev during the conference titled “Republicans: Continuous Reforms.”
Serzh Sargsyan expressed that the crisis of justice is both domestic and regional. “It is unfair that the defeated capitulator has not yet been punished for his adventurism and catastrophic policies. He was not punished in accordance with the law and did not face the curse of our people who did not overcome the post-war shock. It is unfair when, after taking thousands of lives as a result of aggression and depriving thousands of Armenians of their homeland, they are now trying to dictate a so-called peace agenda. Injustice can bring neither internal stability nor external peace.”
Continuing the topic of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, Serzh Sargsyan said, “You all know that a person who considers himself a man in the Caucasus does not speak behind the backs of those who consider him an opponent. He does not gossip or boast. But I remember very well how Ilham Aliyev once behaved in my presence, and so do the co-chairs and their leaders,” said the third president of Armenia, adding that if some forces presented a gift to Aliyev on a tray, he also knows that both he and his father lost to the previous three presidents of Armenia, both on the battlefield and in the field of diplomacy.

“The Artsakh issue is not resolved until the status of Artsakh is clarified and as long as the security of the Artsakh Armenians is under serious threat every day and every hour,” said Serzh Sargsyan, adding that he hopes the Armenian people have not forgotten about their dignity and rights.
