On October 31, the President of the RA National Assembly Alen Simonyan received the deputy of Armenian origin of the National Grand Assembly of Turkey Garo Paylan.
The RA NA President noted that Armenia follows with great attention his pro-Armenian and important activities. “Ii is very important that you keep at the centre of your attention the protection of the national minorities living in Turkey,” Alen Simonyan noted.
At the meeting the consequences of the Azerbaijani last aggression were discussed. A talk was held over the opening of Armenia-Turkey borders. According to Garo Paylan, there is lack of information within the among the large scale of people living in Turkey on the discussions regarding the opening of the borders. He presented to the RA NA President also his impressions and observations relating to the Armenian-Turkish process.
