The corridor of the city hall is whole; participants of the Artsakh war, clergy members, pensioners, and intellectuals came to sign. The flow of people is increasing. This is a form of civil resistance; if the legal steps are implemented, they will be able to achieve changes in the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia, and heavy criminal punishment will be provided to those who recognize Artsakh as part of another state on behalf of the Republic of Armenia, as well as those who refuse international recognition of the Armenian Genocide on behalf of the Republic of Armenia.
We remind you that 50,000 signatures must be collected within 60 days. If we manage that number of signatures, it will be possible to introduce a project to the National Assembly. And suppose the National Assembly does not accept the draft law. In that case, there is an opportunity to ask the people for support again, get another 300,000 signatures, and take the issue to a referendum by force of law. In that case, they also bypass the National Assembly and go to a referendum.
