The document on dissolving the Republic of Artsakh is illegal, said Eduard Sharmazanov, a member of the RPA executive body.
To the observation that the opposition welcomed the election of Samvel Shahramanyan, who signed that document and even declared that it would be a breakthrough, Sharmazanov replied: “After the resignation of Araik Harutyunyan, Samvel Shahramanyan had the political will to try to take responsibility in the most difficult situation, in the most shameful situation.

Samvel Shahramanian signed with a gun on his forehead; 100,000 people wouldn’t have come here if he didn’t sign.
If Samvel Shahramanyan is to blame for seven days, who is to blame for those five years? It’s not that everything was fine in Artsakh during those seven days. Artsakh was surrendered on the day Nikol Pashinyan became the prime minister.”
