On November 17, the RA NA President Alen Simonyan received the delegation led by the OSCE PA President Pia Kauma that arrived in Yerevan on the occasion of the Autumn Meeting of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly (PA).
The RA NA President highlighted the fact of holding the OSCE PA Autumn Meeting, the parliamentary largest event in Yerevan for the first time and expressed hope that it will give an opportunity to the delegations of the member countries of the organization to get acquainted with the events and developments going on in our country and in the region of the South Caucasus on the spot.
The sides touched upon the problems of the Armenians forcibly displaced from Nagorno Karabakh because of military another large scale aggression unleashed by the armed forces of Azerbaijan and the democratic processes of Armenia.
The RA NA President asked the guest to encourage the steps aimed at the dialogue and cooperation between the OSCE all member states, by that showing support to the territorial integrity, sovereignty and democracy of Armenia, reminding that despite our alarms to the international structures with daily regime, it failed to prevent the Azerbaijani disaster.
