Committee endorses revised draft law

In the extraordinary sitting of February 5, the NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs debated the draft law on Making Addenda and Amendments to the Civil Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia in the second reading.

The legal regulations proposed by the initiative aim to ease the workload of the courts, to solve the problems appeared in legal practice.

The RA Deputy Minister of Justice Armenuhi Harutyunyan presented the substantive and editorial amendments that were made after the first reading. The proposals were accepted, as a result of which the draft was revised.

The Committee endorsed the draft. It will be debated during the upcoming NA regular sittings.
