According to the current regulations, the filling of the positions in the State Revenue Committee (SRC) system implies a process with subsequent stages carried out through the SRC training center. A training course may be organized, but there are few applications for participation or as a result of the training course, they successfully overcome it and so many participants are included in the candidate lists, the number of which is not enough to fill the vacant positions in the SRC. There may be cases when the participant included in the list of candidates does not pass the interview stage for the appointment of the position.
The First Deputy Chairman of the RA State Revenue Committee Artyom Smbatyan informed about these problems while presenting the proposed addenda and amendments to the laws on the Tax Service and the Customs Service and the related laws at the sitting of the NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs on February 21.
In the event that there are vacancies in the tax or customs service with the proposed addenda, until those positions are filled in accordance with the mentioned laws, they may be filled by the persons in the tax or customs service reserve who meet the passport requirements of the given position. The cases of holding temporarily vacant positions of the tax or customs service for a certain period of time and the relations concerning the holding of these positions will also be regulated by the law on Civil Service.
