Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met in Brussels with the European Commissioner for Enlargement, Marta Kos.

The interlocutors noted with satisfaction the establishment of the new strategic agenda for Armenia-European Union (EU) partnership and emphasized their readiness to work actively to deepen cooperation in all domains envisaged by it.

They discussed programs being implemented with EU support, as well as possibilities for expanding their scope through the use of existing tools.

Mirzoyan and Kos gave a detailed review of the work being carried out to promote connectivity, investments in infrastructure development, and thereby the stimulation of economic cooperation. Initiatives aimed at strengthening Armenia’s resilience were also discussed.

The Armenian foreign minister and the EU commissioner discussed matters on holding upcoming high-level events—the European Political Community summit and the Armenia–EU summit to be held in Yerevan in May.

The meeting also included an exchange of views on international developments.
