On December 9, Ambassador Narek Mkrtchyan met with Isaac Six, Senior Official in the Office of International Religious Freedom at the U.S. Department of State.
During the meeting, Ambassador noted that religious freedom is an important pillar of democracy in Armenia.
In response, Isaac Six highlighted the peace-oriented efforts of the Armenian government, considering them an important prerequisite for ensuring religious freedom. Isaac Six emphasized that cooperation on Christian values between Armenia and the United States is of civilizational significance.
