The West is trying to pull Russia’s allies apart, including Armenia, by dragging it into erroneous logic in order to hurt Moscow as much as possible. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Izvestia reports.
“The West is pulling apart, trying to pull apart our allies. First of all, starting with our neighbors, as he did with Georgia, Moldova, as they are doing now with Ukraine, and as they are trying to draw Armenia into the same erroneous logic. With only one goal — to make Russia as painful as possible, if you want, to make the task of preserving and strengthening Russia as a truly great power of civilization more difficult,” Lavrov said at a meeting of the XXXIV Assembly of the Council on Foreign and Defense Policy.
