The Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations, the Head of the RA NA delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE PA) Sargis Khandanyan has been re-elected as Chair of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly’s General Committee on Democracy, Human Rights and Humanitarian Questions
Upon his re-election, Sargis Khandanyan stated: “Over the past year, it has been a great honour to serve as Chair of the General Committee on Democracy, Human Rights and Humanitarian Questions. I am grateful for the trust you placed in me and for the opportunity to work closely with colleagues from across the OSCE region in advancing our shared values.
Throughout this period, our Committee has continued to address some of the most pressing challenges facing our societies—from threats to democratic institutions and human rights to the humanitarian consequences of conflict and instability.
I have sought to lead our work with openness, impartiality, and a strong commitment to dialogue and cooperation.”
