Ruben Rubinyan elected as RA NA President

The voting for the election of the NA President was held during the RA NA first session of the ninth convocation.

The NA Civil Contract Faction nominated Ruben Rubinyan’s candidacy.

The Chair of the NA Counting Commission Lilit Minasyan reported that 91 out of 105 NA deputies participated in the election. 63 deputies voted for Ruben Rubinyan’s candidacy, 28 – against. Thus, Ruben Rubinyan was elected as the President of the National Assembly of the NA ninth convocation.

Ruben Rubinyan thanked his colleagues for nominating his candidacy for the position of the NA President and for voting for him, noting that it was a great honor.
