On Day 9 of Johnny Mouradian’s Biblical road trip across Armenia, he read from the Bible at St. Gregory the Illuminator Cathedral in Yerevan.
Johnny Mouradian, co-founder of the Armenian Lacrosse Federation, is currently on a 12-day road trip across Armenia, visiting 12 remarkable locations and sharing 12 daily Bible-reading videos across all six Armenian Lacrosse social media platforms from August 11 through August 22, 2026.

Each day of the road trip, coach Johnny inspires young Armenians through Bible readings and shares the same message: “Bring a friend, bring a family member to church.”
In an interview with Aravot.am, coach Johnny said that every time he visits St. Gregory the Illuminator Cathedral in Yerevan, it reminds him of the church he grew up attending in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada, where he lived just three doors away.
“The church in St. Catharines, Ontario, was called St. Gregory the Illuminator. So, to go to the mother church in Armenia is very special. It is the iconic church. I really loved going to that church. The day I visited, it was not a day when I could receive Communion, but I went inside and prayed for my family and our ancestors.”

“The angel answered and said to her, ‘The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. Therefore, the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God.
