Tigran Urikhanyan about Serzh Sargsyan’s offer. “Whether they will reconsider or not, it’s up to them.”

November 11,2014 14:02

“In this situation, I think it would be right, and I have made such an offer to the government to re-address the document, reconsider it clause by clause and indicate the specific processes by which these clauses would be implemented,” such a statement was made by the RA President Serzh Sargsyan, today, in his interview to “Armenpress”, referring to the 12 points presented by the parliamentary trio.

Aravot.am inquired from PAP spokesman Tigran Urikhanyan whether they are contented with Serzh Sargsyan’s this approach, Mr. Urikhanyan, reasoning that “at 20:20 p.m. you are asking me what PAP initiates to do, naturally I can only share my personal opinion,” in response to our question answered, “We are interested in and we demand and take action to eliminate economic, social and legal crisis in Armenia, to solve the poverty, unemployment and migration issues, people have the opportunity to work and be compensated in a dignified manner. We are not interested in anything more.”

We again stressed whether for the solution of the problems it is enough for Serzh Sargsyan to urge the government to reconsider the 12 points with a new look, the PAP party spokesman said, “Whether they will consider or not, it’s up to them. It will be enough for us that the life of all citizens of Armenia become accessible, complete and prosperous.” Mr. Urikhanyan reminded that the demand for change of government incurred under the failure of implementation of these requirements sufficiently. Serzh Sargsyan also referred to the constitutional reform process, noting that “I think we will use the time until February to achieve greater political consolidation because it is difficult to have a good document without the support of the political parties and a good Constitution. It is highly important to have a better Constitution than the existing one. ”

Obviously, Serzh Sargsyan has not changed his position on this issue, to which PAP and the parliamentary trio are against it. In this context, we asked Mr. Urikhanyan whether they will apply for further actions, the PAP party spokesman replied, “Let them do what they want. We have announced that we are against the reforms not to give a chance for the government to be reproduced.” In response to the question about the possibility of applying for active actions, Mr. Urikhanyan informed, “We are against and will prevent the reproduction of the government by all means.”
