Armenian Armed Forces get armed more and more day by day and apply newest methods. Armenian Defense Ministry Spokesman Artsrun Hovhannisyan stated this during the discussion at the “Armenian Institute for International and Security Affairs”.
He does not agree with the opinion that the threat of large-scale military operations by Azerbaijan is more than high on the basis of its military-technical capabilities. Artsrun Hovhannisyan did not comment on the political motives.
“Military-technical difference, which, for example, was in favor of Azerbaijan in 2015, is considerably reduced today. I do not claim that we have caught up or have surpassed Azerbaijan, but in terms of some types of weapons, the difference of this balance is considerably reduced”, Artsrun Hovhannisyan noted.
