Newly-elected deputy from My Step Hayk Sargsyan met with the protesters who were protesting against the release former MP Manvel Grigoryan. He ordered citizens to open the road. “I see a provocation here.”
The citizens, however, claimed that they are demanding the arrest of Manvel Grigoryan. The deputy responded, “What? You want to make a conviction as a group? There is such thing as a court, you know.”
The deputy is convinced that the protesters’ actions are affecting other citizens negatively. The protesters have continued to keep the Ejmiatsin-Yerevan highway closed.
