According to him, this can be proven by the well-known mass in the Vatican in honor of the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, the Vatican’s recognition of the Armenian Genocide, and finally, the Pope’s historic visit to Armenia. “The authorities decided that Minasyan should no longer continue his work. They likely had fundamental reasons. Let’s hope that the new ambassador will continue those traditions and relations between Armenia and Vatican City will grow deeper in a positive way,” Arman Babajanyan said.

A fight broke out between deputies from Prosperous Armenia and Bright Armenia after Babajanyan criticized the poor work of Armenian ambassadors. The former Armenian Ambassador to Ukraine, Andranik Manukyan, was also mentioned. His son, Prosperous Armenia deputy Davit Manukyan made a remark and left the hall.
