Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China Li Keqiang has sent a congratulatory message to Nikol Pashinyan on his being appointed Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia.
The message reads, in part: “On behalf of the Government of the People’s Republic of China and on my own behalf, I offer you my sincere congratulations on your appointment to the post of Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia.
Armenia is a traditional partner of friendly cooperation for China. The dynamics of healthy and sustained development of Chinese-Armenian relations have been maintained in recent years. The mutual trust in political dialogue has been continuously strengthened. Significant results have been achieved in the implementation of the One Belt, One Way initiative.
I am prepared to maintain close working contacts with you and make efforts to develop bilateral relations, promote practical cooperation in all areas to the benefit of our two peoples.
