Rustam Muradov visits Gyumri, presents new commander of 102nd military base

According to Aravot Daily’s sources, the commander of the Russian peacekeeping troops in Artsakh, Lieutenant-General Rustam Muradov, visited Gyumri on Tuesday in order to present the new commander of the 102nd military base. Naturally, the provincial and municipal authorities of Shirak and Gyumri did not participate in this event, but some of them confirmed in an interview that the military base has a new commander.

Aravot Daily was able to confirm that the new commander is Colonel Dmitri Sergeyevich Avcherov. As far as where he served, there is no specific information yet. There are rumors that he served in the peacekeeping troops.
