The President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin sent a congratulatory message to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on the occasion of the coming New Year and Christmas. The message reads as follows,
“Dear Nikol Vovaevich,
I heartily congratulate you on the occasion of the New Year and Christmas.
During the passing year, our regular communication fully confirmed the friendly, allied nature of the Russian-Armenian relations.

I expect that through joint efforts we will ensure the further dynamic development of bilateral cooperation in various fields, as well as partnership within the EEU, CSTO, CIS and other multilateral structures. It corresponds to the fundamental interests of brotherly peoples of Russia and the Armenia and is in line with the strengthening of security and stability in the Transcaucasian region.
