Congratulatory message by NA President Alen Simonyan on Constitution Day
Today, we celebrate the Constitution Day of the Republic of Armenia. The Constitution is the pillar of our statehood, the highest legal expression of the people’s will, and the value foundation upon which freedom, democracy, justice, and the rule of law are built.
On the path to the development of an independent and sovereign state, strong statehood is possible only when the state institutions operate in accordance with the spirit and letter of the Constitution, and public and political processes are based on legality, mutual respect, and unwavering commitment to democratic values.
On 7 June 2026, our people once again proved their clear will to have a sovereign, free, and democratic state, endowing our political team with the mandate to fulfill that commitment.
