On September 1, the RA NA President Ruben Rubinyan received the Head of the EU Delegation to the Republic of Armenia, Ambassador Vassilis Maragos.

A number of issues regarding the further deepening of Armenia-European Union relations and political dialogue were discussed. The expanding cooperation and continuous dialogue with the European Union was highlighted.

The importance and readiness of the RA National Assembly and the European Parliament for active cooperation were underscored.

Ideas were exchanged on regional developments. The importance of opening regional communications was emphasized. The importance of the RA-EU cooperation in establishing long-term peace and stability in the region was underlined.
