Yemeni government announces general mobilization to fight Houthis

/TASS/. The internationally recognized government of Yemen has announced a general mobilization in the republic to fight the rebel Ansar Allah (Houthi) movement, the government’s SABA news agency reported.

“The House of Representatives [Yemeni parliament’s lower chamber] <…> resolved to approve a request by the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council [Rashad al-Alimi] to declare a general mobilization,” the legislative body’s press service said.
