The first Steering Committee of the EU4Biodiversity in Sevan: Enhancing Lake Sevan Ecosystem Restoration Project took place today. Project stakeholders, including European Union, Ministry of Environment formally launch the project that will be implemented by UNPD.
It was an opportunity to review the project strategic direction and planned activities, endorse the work plan and budget of the first year, and provide guidance to ensure effective implementation, stakeholder coordination, and alignment with national priorities and EU-supported biodiversity and ecosystem restoration objectives in the Lake Sevan basin.
The European Union is proud to support this initiative, and looks forward to work with all stakeholders for the next three years, to ensure its success.
