On October 1–2, 2026, EU Ambassador to Armenia Vassilis Maragos participated in a two-day workshop, “A New Momentum for Armenia: Foreign Policy, Reforms and Resilience,” and joined the panel discussion on Foreign Policy Priorities 2026–2030.
The workshop was organised within the EU-funded project “Bridging Knowledge and Policy: Strengthening Armenian Think Tanks,” which supports stronger interaction between Armenia’s think tank community and policymakers.
“Think tanks are an essential part of policymaking – no administration can deliver on policy alone. Meaningful interaction and dialogue are key,” Ambassador Maragos stressed.
The two-day workshop brought together policymakers, think tanks and experts to exchange views on Armenia’s foreign policy priorities, opportunities for diversification and connectivity, visa liberalisation, countering Foreign Information Manipulation and Interference (FIMI), human rights, public administration reform, and other areas in support of the EU-Armenia partnership.
