Yesterday the Central Electoral Commission published the list of parties that got the right to pin propaganda posters on the external advertisement hoarding excelling 5m². The Armenian National Congress (ANC) didn’t even apply for that. Today www.aravot.am inquired from ANC coordinator Levon Zurabyan what was the reason, whether they didn’t want to be advertised, he said, “It is very costly for us. It really requires much money.” In response to our question whether the ANC didn’t have that money, Mr. Zurabyan said that they had limited amount of money, “We certainly cannot compete with either the Republican Party or the Prosperous Armenia Party or many other parties. Take into consideration that you talk about an opposition that has suffered for 4 years, as a result of that, either the businesses of people have been ruined or they have been fired etc. So, we have to use our resources more rationally and we will not spend them on this.”
