No changes in the operational situation were recorded along the Line of Contact between the Karabakh and Azerbaijani opposing forces, from late Friday night to early Saturday morning.
During this time the adversary violated the verbal agreement to cease fire more than 70 times along the entire frontline, and primarily by way of rifle weaponry.
As a result, an incident occurred at around 2:15am, in a northerly (Talish village) direction of the contact line.
Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Defense Army serviceman Gagik Khurshudyan sustained a passing gunshot wound from the gunfire by the adversary.
In response to these aggressive actions by the Azerbaijani armed forces, vanguard units of the NKR Defense Army took preventive measures and quelled the “activeness” of the adversary.
The NKR armed forces continue confidently carrying out their military task and reliably protecting the border.
