Karen Karapetyan to present a state development program

Deputy chairman of the ruling Republican Party (RPA) Hovik Abrahamyan and candidate for Armenia’s Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan made speeches during the RPA Executive Body meeting held on Thursday, the press department of the party reports.

Hovik Abrahamyan thanked the President of Armenia and party council members present at the meeting for the trust and noted that during the two and a half years of his tenure as the prime minister of Armenia he tried to exert every effort to overcome internal and external challenges, he spoke during the cabinet session. Abrahamyan congratulated the newly nominated candidate for the prime minister of Armenia Karen Karapetyan and wished him success. Abrahamyan stressed that Karapetyan whom he knows well, has the skills and experience to move the state forward, develop the economy and secure the people’s well being.

Candidate for Armenia’s Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan thanked the President and the RPA executive Body members for the trust, assuring we would do the best to meet the expectations.
Karapetyan informed that in the coming days he will present a state development program, consisting of two parts. The first part will cover the possible shift changes, which may bring trust and credibility toward the program, while the second phase will represent a concept of prospective development.
Karapetyan asked to all interested parties to present suggestions, adding he is going to organize a round table discussion with his colleagues, economists, and representatives of the business to discuss the matter.
