On September 14, Edward Nalbandian, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, received Tian Erlong, Ambassador of China to Armenia.
Edward Nalbandian thanked for the vital assistance provided by the Government of China for the technical equipment of the new building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia. In that regard during the ceremony organized at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he noted that the assistance provided to the MFA of Armenia is another proof of warm and friendly relation between the two countries. The Minister also handed to the Ambassador a letter of gratitude addressed to China Wang Yi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of China.
In his turn Ambassador Erlong emphasized that China attaches a great importance to the strengthening of relations with Armenia and is ready to continue to support the development of friendly country.
During the conversation that followed the ceremony, the sides commended the close and friendly cooperation between the two countries, discussed the process of implementation of agreements reached between the leaders of Armenia and China, as well as numerous issues on the Armenian-Chinese agenda. Edward Nalbandian attached importance to continuous personal efforts of the Chinese Ambassador aimed at the deepening the Armenian-Chinese cooperation.
