President Armen Sarkissian attended today the opening of the Armenia Expo-2018 annual exhibition-forum.
The annual general trade and industrial forum, which is organized jointly by the Union of Armenia’s industrialists and entrepreneurs and LOGOS EXPO Center exhibition company, this year brought together over 200 domestic and foreign companies working in the production and service areas, as well as individual entrepreneurs and farmers who present here their production.
After the opening ceremony President Sarkissian toured the exhibition pavilions, familiarized with the exhibits, technologies presented here and innovative systems. He conversed with the representatives of the companies attending the exhibition, individual entrepreneurs and farmers, who brought their own produce, inquired about their problems, achievements, and future programs.
President Sarkissian responded also to the questions of the journalists. He stressed the importance of the exhibition and noted that in his conversations with the participants he was particularly keen to learn about the production selling issues, especially on the Eurasian territory and opportunities of export to other countries. “It is very important since our country should stay on that course, becoming a modern industrial state which is able to export its production,” the President of Armenia said.
