“Please stop blocking the court entrances at 1:30 PM,” Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan told citizens during a Facebook livestream.
He said that private discussions were held in government regarding the roadmaps that will be used to move forward and what actions will be carried out. He said that he will not give details because general discussions were held regarding what has to be done in order to resolve the issues he outlined in his speech.
The Prime Minister, speaking about the purpose of the protests, said, “The purpose was to note that the people demand for there to be an independent court system in Armenia and that the people and the government are united in that demand. The government is beginning to work towards carrying out activities to make the courts independent.”
Nikol Pashinyan informed that he divided the work between the government, parliament, and other bodies.
