On January 21, at 01:31 information was received to 911 emergency call center that a car accident had occurred on Hrazdan-Hankavan roadway.
A fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of MES dispatched to the scene.
It turned out that “VAZ-2107” car (driver Armen S., born in 1990) had run off the 22nd km of Hrazdan-Hankavan roadway and turned over into the nearby gorge (about 10m). The driver and passenger Ruben P. (born in 1982) were hospitalized to the medical center of Hrazdan town, afterwards to “Saint Gregory the Illuminator” medical center, where the doctors assessed their health conditions as stable.
The rescuers disconnected the automotive battery of the car.
