On February 1, at 12:22 information was received to 911 emergency call center that a car accident had occurred near Azat river on Yerevan-Meghri highway: there was a casualty.
A fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of MES of RA dispatched to the scene.
It turned out that “Toledo” car (driver Samvel M., born in 1951) had run off the roadway and overturned on the 20th km of Yerevan-Meghri highway, as a result Samvel M. was hospitalized to the medical center of Artashat town, where doctors assess his condition as satisfactory.
Rescuers disconnected the automotive battery of the car and closed the gas valve.
