A 28-year-old man beat his 43-year-old girlfriend to death in a home on Proshyan street in the Textile Manufacturers neighborhood in Gyumri. The woman’s 13-year-old daughter was also severely beaten, and she was taken to the Mother and Child Austrian Hospital of Gyumri in critical condition.
By the way, the arrested 28-year-old’s mother was the one who called the ambulance. The hospital informed the police of the incident, and the police confirmed that the mother also was beaten and died several hours later. According to preliminary information, the incident took place as a result of an argument at home.
Doctors are currently fighting for the child’s life. She was taken to the hospital with wounds on her face and body while in an unconscious state. Her blood pressure levels were 40/20. After restoring her blood pressure, she was immediately taken into surgery. She is currently on life support and was taken to a hospital in Yerevan.
The police informed Aravot Daily that the 28-year-old man had been arrested several times due to theft and disorderly conduct. The last time he was arrested was due to disorderly conduct. He has been registered at the police station and is not married.
