On December 20, the deputies of the Armenia faction presented how a part of the Goris-Kapan road was handed over to Azerbaijan in a written document.
Anna Grigoryan and Gegham Manukyan showed a whole series of written documents, revealing the chronology of events and completing what happened in Syunik.
Gagik Melkonyan, a member of the Civil Contract and the NA Committee on Defense and Security, in response to reporters’ questions about how it turned out that our troops in Syunik had withdrawn and there was a written document, and if he was aware of the document, said, “You say our troops withdrew. How many troops withdrew? How many meters did they withdraw? This was in the part of Kapan, the part of Mount Pela, where at first the Russians went and deployed, then, when they started to look at the borders, it turned out that the Russians were stationed on the border with the Azerbaijanis.They retreated to the other side of Mount Pela. Only after coming with them did our two strongholds return. In other words, the armed forces have not withdrawn.” In response to the question that Nikol Pashinyan always insisted that it was an oral instruction, there is no written document, now the head of the General Staff has confirmed that there was a written document, so did Nikol Pashinyan lie from the parliamentary podium, Gagik Melkonyan answered, “The Prime Minister said that by my order they withdrew in that part. What do you need? It will be written, it will be oral.”
Melkonyan assured that he was not aware of the secret written document.
