Central Election Commission releases electronic voting results

Armenpress. A total of 58.97% of eligible voters participated in Armenia’s parliamentary election, according to final turnout data.

Out of 2,503,976 citizens eligible to vote, 1,476,597 took part in the election, Central Election Commission Chairman Vahagn Hovakimyan said.

Armenia’s Central Election Commission has published the results of electronic voting in the parliamentary elections.

A total of 537 citizens were eligible to vote electronically, of whom 410 participated. The number of invalid ballots was 22.

The votes were distributed as follows:

• Reformists Party — 0

• Democratic Party “I Am Against Everyone” — 5

• Strong Armenia Alliance — 13

• Meritocratic Party of Armenia — 5

• “New Force” Reformist Party — 3

• “Wings of Unity” Party — 13

• Prosperous Armenia Party — 5

• Pan-Armenian National Democratic Pole — 0

• “Kochari National Revival and National Awakening” Party — 0

• Armenian National Congress — 0

• Republic Party — 4

• Christian Democratic Party — 0

• Democratic Consolidation Party — 1

• “Democracy, Law, Discipline” Party — 1

• Civil Contract Party — 330

• Armenia Alliance — 8

• “In the Name of the Republic” Democracy Protection Alliance — 0

• Bright Armenia Party — 1

After presenting the breakdown, the Central Election Commission formally validated the results of the electronic voting.

It should be noted that electronic voting in nationwide elections is available to representatives of Armenia’s diplomatic corps abroad and their family members.

Voting in Armenia’s parliamentary elections has concluded at 8:00 p.m.
