On August 23, 2023, Ambassador Makunts met with USAID Deputy Assistant Administrator Dr. Alexander Sokolowski, USAID/Armenia Mission Director John Allelo, USAID/Armenia Senior Development Advisor for Economic Growth Jeffrey Paretchan, and USAID Armenia Desk Officer Susie Baker.
Meeting participants highlighted active involvement of the USAID in economic development of Armenia, discussed opportunities and challenges in the high-tech sector, exchanged opinions on market diversification, as well as disaster preparedness and risk management.
