Vardan Malkhasyan, the parliamentary candidate, the member of “Armenian volunteers’ union” initiative who is in isolator for his calls to break the Constitutional order by force, calls the voters of N14 electoral station.
– Mr. Malkhasyan, do you follow the campaign in N14 polling station where you are also nominated and who does organize your campaign?
– Frankly speaking, we started the campaign later. I have had no intention to be nominated before my arrest. I made that decision when my advocate and friends told me that the constituency of N14 polling station want me to be nominated. The voters had told that there wasn’t a real radical oppositionist among the candidates. One of the candidates, Khachatryan Levon, is one of the closest friends of the prosecutor general. The next one is from the “Prosperous Armenia” Party. I decided to nominate my candidacy as if I didn’t, my supporters would accuse me of avoiding the struggle. Besides, I think that my arrest won’t limit my activities, I’ll continue pursuing my main goal: to dismiss these authorities. When you make such announcements, you are accused of making dangerous announcements. In reality the danger isn’t the call for revolution but the challenges addressed to Armenia. For example, Minister of Labor and Social Issues Aghvan Vardanyan told two months ago that the population had grown old, traditional families are destroyed, migration increases. This is the authority’s remark. Why do these happen and who did make our people and country like this? It is obvious, our authorities. In my opinion, the country is powerful and strong when its people are owners of their fate, where people themselves choose the authority, love and believe in their leaders. Now our people don’t elect the authority, as they aren’t allowed, and the leaders carry out such criminal and traitorous activities that it isn’t able to love and trust. If the authorities don’t provide elementary conditions for the people, people leave the country and the number of poor people increases. Have you heard that the criminal who has been sentenced for 506 times is appointed holds the post of governor? Governor of Syunik, nicknamed “Liska” has been sentenced for 506 times. One is called “fox”; the other is “mouse”. Can those nicknamed politicians provide prosperous life for our population? Of course, they can’t. Those same persons try to keep their seats. Serge Sargsyan doesn’t go home, he propagandizes all day long. What do they want from the people? They beg votes to have mandates, portfolios, then money, casino, nightclubs. I call my people to be sober. People should have a balanced approach to everything, as these elections will be decisive for our people. People must understand that if they agree with the slave conditions, they must also agree with the slave’s bad life conditions. They act with the slaves as they want and sell them later. No patriotism, justice and truth can exist where the money rules. They help beggars not for sympathy, but sometimes for feeling disgust. Nowadays Njdeh’s false adherents make the intellectuals beggars then give them money to praise them.
– You are isolated and don’t have an opportunity to get in contact with your supporters. Do you think you are able to contend with the rest of candidates in N14 polling station?
– My main resource in comparison with other candidates is my adherence to principles. People who know me are aware of it. I have a pre-electoral headquarter through which I have addressed a call to the voters. If the voter elects the representative of the authority after reading that call, let him vote, it’s his business. I have warned the members of my headquarter not to assure anyone to vote for Malkhasyan. I simply explain the situation.
– Which is your summon addressed to the voters?
– People must vote for dismissal of the ruling clique. Each person who will vote for me must understand that his vote will serve to dismiss this criminal regime. Live and act believing in your victory, don’t be willful slaves. There is no difference between the willful slave and criminal. We deserve our victory and mustn’t be slaves.
