On January 18, 2012, 37 million AMD and gold worth $25 thousand were stolen from the house of Vladimir Vanesyan, a resident of the town of Berd, region of Tavush. A criminal case was opened regarding that, according to Article 177, Section 3, Clause 1.1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia.
We were informed from the attorney’s office of the region of Tavush that Koryun Vazgen Alaverdyan, a Russian Federation citizen originally from Berd, and Masis Vrezh Khachatryan, a resident of Vanadzor, were arrested in connection with this case and Vahe Hovhannes Tumanyan, another resident of Vanadzor, is declared wanted by the police. The investigation into the case is under way.
