Folks at Congress Don’t Know What to Say About Not Displaying Parada Yet

October 17,2012 17:06

Today at 7:30 p.m., Parada, a movie telling about the rights of homosexuals, should have been displayed in Congress Hotel at the initiative of the EU delegation and the German Embassy, but the mass media were informed with a press release that Congress Hotel had been compelled not to display the movie because of pressure. The organizers expressed readiness to display the movie for those who were interested with the same press release. www.aravot.am tried to find out from the hotel what pressure they were talking about. A worker at the hotel who introduced herself as Knarik informed that they couldn’t say anything at the moment, since they were still trying to find out the details.

Let us remind that on October 8, the Hayazn union organized a protest outside the German Embassy, since the movie was intended to be displayed in the Puppet Theater.
