Today www.epress.am filmed how Murad Muradyan, a Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) MP, voted instead of another MP during a vote on forming the Ethics Commission.
Let us remind that the bill providing for amendments to the National Assembly Rules of Procedure was adopted with only 66 yeas, but it would have been adopted, even if no one had voted instead of someone else.
When asked whether he had voted instead of another MP on his own initiative or he had been told to do that, Murad Muradyan denied during a conversation with www.aravot.am that it was him in the video, assuring that he didn’t resemble that person, it had been Tachat Vardapetyan. He also said that Alexan Petrosyan had sat next to him. Let us note that the latter was present at the meeting, and Tachat Vardapetyan was sitting in front of Murad Muradyan.

And Tachat Vardapetyan made the following comment: “It doesn’t correspond to the reality. I can say regarding my person that it is a joke, unfortunately, April 1 is a long way off.”
Tachat Vardapetyan also suggested that he be asked questions on more intellectual subjects, for example, about the poetry night that will take place in the Paronyan Theater today, and he is a member of the jury, “You are welcome to come, poetry also disinfects a man, and it is not interesting who votes instead of whom.”
