The process of the international condemnation of the Armenian Genocide has gained irrevocable momentum. Universal recognition of the Genocide is only a matter of time. Nevertheless, it is our duty to consistently persist in the battle against denial. However, as the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide draws near, the most reasonable step to take would be to provide a new kind of approach to this process, both in a comprehensive, and a procedural manner. In other words, besides calling for the recognition of the undeniable fact of the Genocide, shift to claims and compensation matters. And besides calling for yet another US President to utter the word “Genocide”, shift to legal procedures and evaluations by international courts.
