As we have already been informed, at the Armenia Junior Water Polo Championship (organized by the Water Polo Federation of Armenia and the National Olympic Committee of Armenia), by the decision of Water Polo Federation of Armenia, due to inappropriate behavior of the representative and the coach, “Titan” team is dismissed from tournaments. Representative of “Titan” team Gagik Hovhannisyan hit the referee of the game, referee of the international category, internationally renowned Ruben Essayan. To the point, Gagik Hovhannisyan is an RA Presidential security guard.
Karen Gyunashyan, President of Armenia Water Polo Federation, and Ruben Essayan, victim and referee, provided explanations at Mashtots police department. According to our sources, it has been two days since the security “titan” Gagik Hovhannisyan is invited to Mashtots police department, but he still did not show up. In fact, last year, at the tournaments G. Hovhannisyan again tried to defame the tournaments with his behavior, but he failed.
