“The police action has been, are and will be lawful”, – said Valerie Osipyan, Deputy Chief Police, to Aravot.am, and refused to answer the questions regarding today’s court decision against Argishti Kiviryan, coordinator of Armenia Today website. He said that he is unaware of the court’s decision, therefore, he does not want to talk about it. Recall that today the court decided to accept Argishti Kiviryan’s application obligating the SIS to file a criminal case regarding the fact of illegal actions of police officers against Kiviryan on August 2 in front of the City Hall. At the end, Deputy Chief Police expressed his opinion about Argishti Kiviryan, “I do not know Argishti Kiviryan. He probably is an undistinguished activist that just always breaks the order. I know Argishti Kiviryan as such, who has become notable by his foul language with the police.”
