The “Agricultural Projects Implementation Unit” State Agency at the Ministry of Agriculture of Armenia has applied to the Kotayk District Court of First Instance that it has authorized Haykaz Karapetyan to act as a civil plaintiff under the criminal case filed against Vardan Petrosyan.
The latter has submitted the court a lawsuit on demanding to recover damages incurred to the state as a result of the crime.
Haykaz Karapetyan informed “Aravot” that according to the lawsuit, on October 20, last year, in the evening, in the Yeghvard-Yerevan intersection, Vardan Petrosyan with his vehicle has hit the car (make Vaz 21, model 214-126-20, plate number 870 0L 64) parked at the roadside, belonging to the “Agricultural Projects Implementation Unit” State agency. In fact, the driver is Artur Hakobyan recognized suffered under this case.
The aforementioned agency at the Ministry of Agriculture requires two million six hundred thousand drams from Vardan Petrosyan. The party claimed the court to be recognized a civil plaintiff, which the court granted.
