Azerbaijan considers April 2 as the day of occupation of Karvachar and had to feed its society by small victories but it failed. According to political analyst Styopa Safaryan’s interpretation, Kerry-Aliyev meeting was strange and Aliyev could not return with admiration. “Going to Washington Aliyev did everything to fail the meeting of the presidents under US chairmanship, he was thinking that he will be welcome very well as he has freed some political prisoners that were demanded by the American side. Making Azerbaijan face a dilemma, or inviting Turkey to the region, which is fraught with dangerous consequences for the very Azerbaijan-Turkey relations and/or to go and fell into the arms of Russia, like for example it was doing with Armenia one year ago when unleashed Azerbaijan onto Armenia.” According to the political analyst, Azerbaijan’s launched activities are a mini-test to a full-scale war, “This time, we saw involvement of various types of weapons and jointly coordinated aviation, tanks, artillery, infantry troops and so on. This is truly a serious test.”
