PAP has not discussed the issue of holding ministerial portfolios in the formation of the new government, even if there is such a proposal. In an interview with Aravot.am, leader of the PAP political party, Naira Zohrabyan, said that they had no such discussions. However, Mrs. Zohrabyan considers it necessary that the answer to the question of why Hovik Abrahamyan’s government resigned is given to the public, political forces and the parliament.
Back to the PAP’s prospect of being or not being is the staff of the new government, Naira Zohrabyan noted, “Frankly speaking, I do not see any logic to make such plan for several months. These days we are talking about the government of national accord. Such debates are not acceptable and clear to me, especially since few months are left to the parliamentary elections.”
The flattery parade that is taking place around Karen Karapetyan as a candidate for the vacant position of prime minister is unacceptable for Mrs. Zohrabyan, “I was horrified and disgusted by this parade of servility and flattery that the Republican and generally various lawmakers and other leaders demonstrated in the media toward the new candidate for prime minister. I got the impression of a déjà vu. I recalled that the same people in the same way with the same tokens and the same diligence were flattering Tigran Sargsyan, the same people with the same adjectives were flattering Hovik Abrahamyan. This obsequiousness can be included in the Book of Guinness. Now, the same people with the same enthusiasm began flattering future prime minister.”
Naira Zohrabyan considers this a tragedy of the state system and express concern that as long as flattery and servility, being a lackey, is the incentive and driving force in this system, our country will have serious problems in terms of development. Ironically, Mrs. Zohrabyan “recommends the political caste to closely study the dictionary of synonyms by Sukiasyan for introducing freshness in the vocabulary of their flattery, “Go to the tutors to store a new bunch of adjectives expressing adulation and servility to avoid being out of fashion”. Mrs. Zohrabyan does not know who the next prime minister will be but she has an urge for him: “Please, close the door to all those who are selflessly and sweatily flattering you. They are the special species, they are the first traitors, tomorrow they will flatter Your successor in the same diligence.”
